In this workshop, Sean McGowan will be presenting concepts from his book, The Holistic Guitarist. Sean lays out a complete guide for players of all levels, styles, and ages. Rather than focusing solely on technique or theory, the book takes a big-picture approach to musical growth, presenting core concepts such as:

• Physical Health & Injury Prevention: Staying healthy at the instrument, preventing strain, and managing the physical demands of playing.
• Mindful & Creative Practice: Maximizing practice sessions with focused, efficient routines that encourage creative exploration rather than mindless repetition.
