Originally commissioned in 1996 by the late guitar collector Scott Chinery, 22 of the world’s premier archtop guitar builders—inspired by the legendary Jimmy D’Aquisto’s \u003ci data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"332\"\u003eBlue Centura Deluxe\u003c\/i\u003e—were asked to build a custom, high-end archtop guitar using a unified, striking blue finish.
